The title—Spring Harvest I (aka The Man in Prosciutto)—hints at a playful fusion of the organic (harvest, spring growth) and the fleshy (prosciutto-toned passages around the face and neck). Greens around the hair and nape allude to renewal, while the reds and pinks evoke both vitality and carnality - and why not a Parmesan yellow for a forehead?
