FIREBRAND
FIREBRAND
In Firebrand, Mengle captures the thrilling synergy between horse and rider through vibrant, energetic brushstrokes and a riot of color. A central thoroughbred horse, all taut muscles and flaring mane, gallops across the canvas, its movement echoed by radiating swirls of paint. Astride it sits a confident female figure, her poised form and flowing dark hair heightening the sense of unbridled momentum.
